"We voluntarily gave up our room to another guest who ordered, but didn’t receive, a handicapped room. Ours happened to be, so we switched. I suspect we were then put in a room that they hadn’t finished remodeling. The hotel was fine, and the main part of our room was OK. But the showerhead was broken, the bathtub spout was stained, the overhead bathroom fan was hanging down as it might fall, there was paint where it shouldn’t be and lack of paint where there should. The elevator was out, and the stairs up to the third floor were really worn badly and dirty. Staff left bags of linens all over the hallways in the morning so you had to work your way through to walk down the hallway. And finally, the chain lock in the room was installed backward, meaning it would be useless if needed, one screw missing with the needed scree and a cordless drill left on the bathroom counter when we arrived.
Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok. Price was ok. Probably not returning. "
"I stayed here with my husband and four kids (ages 6mo-5yrs). I would definitely recommend this hotel for people traveling with kids— excellent price for what you got —a nice big room with pleanty of space for pack n plays and toys. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, and nice heavy tables that didn’t tip. There was also a lovely lady who was there each morning and happily greeted us and made sure we had all we needed. Bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms and bedding were very clean and well attended to. There were a few things that were a little less than optimal but by no means “dealbreakers”. The room was a little stale (but not smelly) and alongside one of the beds was a fried potato wedge; in the living room area there was an unopened bag of Funions (which, honestly, we ended up eating…because who doesn’t love a surprise treat?) as well as multiple, subtle red juice type stains on the carpet. We came in on a Monday, so my guess is that the weekend cleaning staff may have been a little tired by the time they got to our room and overlooked a few things. Besides that, the freezer was in need of a little wipe down but was usable, reasonably clean and cold. They also had TWO Roku TVs which made entertaining the kids super easy (no channel surfing!) The hotel has been recently renovated, has a nice pool, helpful front desk, and I would definitely stay here again!"
"The room wasn't cleaned properly, the toilet was gross and wouldn't even flush. The room smelled bad, the elevator seemed like it could break at any second. We had 2 towels in our room for 4 people. When I went to ask for more they had none, all their laundry was dirty. I will never stay at a Baymont again."
"Breakfast selection could be better. I did enjoy little breakfast I could just take and go. Parking was easy close to hotel. Hotel was very clean 10/10. "
