"Overall, we did not have a terrible experience, but there are a few things worth mentioning. The person who greeted us seemed upset and did not have the warm or welcoming attitude you would expect in customer service. We also had an issue with the bathtub in our room being clogged. Although the manager kindly offered to move us to another room, the hotel overall did not seem very well maintained. The carpet felt sticky in some areas, and there was a noticeable mold-like smell in the air. In addition, the door to our room looked as if someone had previously tried to force it open, which was a little concerning. The pictures on the website don't match what we saw at the Hotel. I understand this is an economy hotel, so expectations can be low; but I truly believe that a positive and friendly staff can completely change the experience for guests and a little bit more TLC for the facilities as well."

"We stayed one night at the Westin Cleveland Downtown. My husband and I were traveling with our 2 children (ages 9 and 7). Overall, the room was very nice. The bathroom was small, but beautiful. The shower was tiled and absolutely beautiful. The only issue was that it was very slow to drain, I’m not sure if it was clogged, but with 4 people to shower, we had to take long breaks between showers so that the water could drain out. Parking was confusing and a bit difficult, but the Valets were very helpful and kind once we got it figured out. The bellman, Cam, was very kind and helpful with our luggage upon checkout. Overall, if we needed to return to Cleveland, we would stay here again, and would recommend it to others."

"Hotel definitely needs some attention and care. Upon check In I was assigned the wrong room in which someone was already staying In. The correct room was missing a microwave which staff had to bring up to use. Definitely would not stay again until they improve hotel."
