"Room was comfortable and loved that the room was decorated with antique furniture which was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as you could choose from selected items from their wonderful bakery. Will stay again."

"Expedia needs to update this properties availability. There is NO RESTAURANT, BAR OR BUFFETT BREAKFAST on site. The inside smells stale. The rooms with a balcony are in the facility! You have to request a outdoor balcony. The facility needs a lot of TLC! The outside needs TLC. The grassy area is half grass half dirt with weeds. The building needs a desperate re-paint. There is no help available with your luggage. The beach is approximately 50×50ft. No water tours or boats. The lake is beautiful and very Zen. The staff have told me that they have many complaints about what is offered online via what is actually offered once they arrive. This facility could once again be a beautiful welcoming get-a-way with some work. Including the vacant dilapidated Ox Tavern on site. All this place offers is a clean bed and a relaxing lake to look at."

"Hotels.com has some marginal properties and this is one of them. This La Quinta was barely adequate. When I got to my room, I took a quick shower. The water would not drain out of the tub. I tried to make a cup of coffee. The machine got very hot but would not brew it. Finally, I switched on the TV. CNN was only available in Spanish! This hotel should be removed from hotels.com offerings."

"The staff had no clue where things were the breakfast was messy juice machine broken coffee machine also they had a pot of crappy coffee.there pool was down and that is why I chose this spot.was told it hasn't worked in years.managment were rude.i never used this site to travel and I'm not very happy at all with my very expensive trip.the hotel was old and rundown the outside wasn't kept up the TV had 26 channels and half were blurry.i would like to know why you have this place as an option it seems like a drug or party place other guess I talked to said everything I'm telling you about it .a complete and udder hell hole.not how I want to remember my only childs graduation.im from Florida n he lives up north so money was my reason for the place but I would have paid more for somewhere else and wish I did"

"Clean, still trying to find my perfect room there, close to the elevator is on the noisy side. And being from the West coast, 11 am check out is 8 am to me, that sucks when you are on vacation! They graciously gave me a later checkout (noon/9) it's an old place, I love it there, but it has it's problems, lost heat and hot water last stay in April, they are still running on a back up boiler, I expect they will be shutting down for repairs soon. Also found out that the property is for sale"
