The site is full of ambient trails with different atmospheres, whether you want to summit a mountain, run through a field or picnic on a lovely lake. Here you see The Pogue, a 14-acre (6-hectare) lake, featuring mountain reflections and beautiful Great Blue herons hungry for bass fish. Wonderful stay at this beautiful inn. Couldn’t fault it. The only downside is that the bar and restaurant isn’t open every evening. When it was open, it was excellent - top quality food and brilliant staff.

Beautiful, quiet inn. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday after the holidyas, so it was especially quiet, just what we wanted. Staff was incredibly attentive and engaging, rooms were unique and comfortable. I highly recommend The Jackson. We will be returning in the spring to see the grounds!

The Lincoln Inn was in a great area outside of Woodstock. The grounds are beautiful, and a covered bridge is only a short walk from the property. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hot tub was great after skiing. It was nice and hot and had enough room for many guests. The common rooms were a little drafty and cold and the restaurant/bar area had more of a cafeteria feel.
