"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"The room was very difficult to find. The floors of the hotel were like a maze. You had to go to the second floor to come back up the corridor to get to the first floor. We got lost and took us a while to find the room. The receptionist did say it was confusing to find, so they are aware of it, would be helpful if they had someone to take you to your room as its not straight forward. We were very excited to try out the restaurant, but the food was a little disappointing and didn’t live up to our expectations. The food at the club was much better. The hours for the swimming pool was very convenient. The games on the lawn were entertaining and the grounds of the hotel were very pleasant. We had the family room, which was very tight for a family with teenagers and the view was sooo disappointing as we only had shrubs to look at in such gorgeous grounds. The parking is charged on a daily basis we didn’t quite understand why they charged for the parking as the hotel was on private grounds and the land was not shared. In our experience, hotels tend to charge when they are in city centres not out in the country. I had missed this when booking and it would have definitely deterred me had i have seen it before booking. Staff were very approachable and helpful with a welcoming smile on their face all the time."

"A lovely view from the hotel, a shame there isn’t a great deal of space to sit outside to make the most of it. The staff were lovely and very helpful which was a plus. The hotel felt a little run down and there were obvious signs of previous issues that had been patched up, there was also a musty smell in various areas around the hotel. The room itself was spacious and clean but the beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely. We were a little surprised to see a room service tray had been left in the corridor outside a room, it was there when we checked in at 3pm on Friday and was still there when we left at 9:30am on Saturday- poor show!"

"From the moment we were checked in by a very friendly and smiley Haz we found everything spotlessly clean. We had room service which was very fast and efficient (we collected it from the bar to save the £5 charge). Food was good. Beds were comfortable. We had everything we need for an overnight stay. "
