"Having an attached 24hr cafe, was great if you couldn't get back from days out until late. Staff were zuper friendly, and did their jobs well. Food was very good value, fresh and well presented."

"We had a lovely stay at The Hogโ€™s Head Inn. The room was really comfortable and, most importantly, actually spacious enough for a family of five! ๐Ÿ˜‚ All of the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the food was great too. A brilliant option for families and weโ€™d definitely stay again."

"Our room was clean but the room was very dark with just a small window at one end overlooking a yard. Staff were all very helpful & breakfast was good. We didnโ€™t feel there was a lot of choice on menu for evening meal"

Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa

"The room was dusty, staircase leading to the pool had cobwebs and many dead insects on them. The shower in the pool area used after swimming was mouldy along the bottom of the shower tray at the front. The food in the restaurant was very good, however it would be of benefit to customers who want to book the restaurant if the hotel explained before booking that you can choose food from both of the available menus."

10/10 Excellent
"We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar. Some staff seemed ran off their feet whilst others seemed a little idle. We would have likely ordered more drinks had we been asked. Breakfast was great, nice choice. Love the location."

"Great position near the station and the centre of town, generous sized room recently refurbished. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights that makes the accommodation noisy, not suitable for those who need an early night,"
