"My room was tidy, but worn a bit as one might expect for an elderly old boat. The lack of air-conditioned in the room made sleeping difficult, as did the person snoring in the next room through the thin walls, not to mention the typical other guests talking loudly outside the room at 2 AM. My room was adjacent the gangway, which provided a symphony of banging and clanging well past midnight. It sounded like dumpsters being emptied all through the night. No coffee in the room, but an unenthusiastic barista will serve you at the cafe when it opens at 6. So, get a room on the starboard side, away from the lifts, enjoy the history, but do not expect the elegance that history implies."

"The hotel was really charming. It wasn't a giant resort or chain. It felt like a vacation and was so comfortable. The room and all common areas were clean. The pool area was great and there were tons of seating and gathering places including a fire pit, some cabanas, and just some family type gathering spaces.The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this great little place to anyone. "

" Very Unpleasant Stay When we arrived and checked in, the clerk asked if we were smokers. We told him no, and he said he would place us in a non-smoking room. However, as soon as we entered the room, there was a heavy cigarette smell—so strong that our eyes started watering. That should have been our first red flag. As I looked around, I noticed multiple cleanliness issues. The bedside tables were missing drawers, and there were hairs in the sink, shower, and on the floor. We also found wrappers left behind. The room was clearly not cleaned properly. To make matters worse, there was mold in the bathroom, and the smoke detectors had no batteries and appeared to have been tampered with. I went back to the clerk and asked if the room could be properly cleaned. I explained that we had found trash and hair throughout the room. He came in wearing only socks—no shoes—and simply wiped down the counters. At that point, we knew we had to leave. Save yourself the headache and spend a little more money on a better hotel "
