"We loved our stay at Hotel Monopol. The location was unbeatable. One unique thing about the hotel was it's interior design and structure. Breakfast was ordinary tho compared to what advertised. So I guess the best deal is without Breakfast and you can find lots of great brunch places just steps away from here with much affordable prices. I personally liked the spa massage. However the pool was very small and only 2-3 group of people could enjoy it at the same time. Overally it was a great experience"

"The hotel offered a favourable location, only a short walk from the main square. We arrived on Saturday night, and the pubs across the road were very loud; however, they closed for the remainder of the nights we stayed Sunday and Monday and the hotel provided earplugs in the room so we knew what to expect. The hotel was clean and tidy, though the bathroom felt somewhat dated and the shower was disappointing. I requested a room change but was told no, so the staff were not particularly helpful. As a gold member of other chains I found this disappointing as get treated better with them"

"Absolutely incredible building, loved the decor and the feel. The windows blocked out a majority of the noise from the streets and station, leaving only a very quiet rumble when trains would pass. The only downside was the bed, pillows were way too soft - barely stable enough to support a head, and the duvet cover was not closable. TLDR: The room was incredible but the bed is the only improvement"

"We had two rooms for our group, and honestly, the view was gorgeous and totally made it worth it. However, the rooms had some issues. One bathroom had a really strong urine smell—we told reception, but nobody did a thing. In the other room, the shower was pretty much unusable because the water kept swinging between boiling hot and freezing cold. ​Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay, but for what we paid, we definitely expected better upkeep and service!"
