"Do not stay here, it's a Howard Johnston with higher end boutique prices.
During our stay, the hotel hosted a large private sorority event that significantly impacted the property environment. The outdoor amenities—including the pool area, green space, and fire pits—were effectively taken over by the event with girls drinking, partying and taking selfies, making the space unusable for my family.
This directly contradicts how the property is marketed- as a relaxing, upscale lodge focused on privacy and restoration. When I reached out to the management they dismissed my concerns saying I was the only one complaining and that they sorority party ended before quiet hours. Be warned, you will go expecting the relaxing vibe they market on instagram and the website and end up with a great party. So uncalssy!
Key concerns:
No disclosure of the event prior to or at check-in
Paid amenities were not reasonably usable
Multiple complaints to staff on site were not addressed
Additionally, after my stay, I posted a fair and factual comment about our experience on the hotel’s social media page, which was removed.
This raises further concern about how guest feedback is being handled."
