"No frills but good location. I just needed a bed and shower during a trip to see a concert at the nearby De Montfort Hall. It's a great location for that, less than 5mins walk, also near plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. It's cheap so I didn't expect much. The room and toilet/shower was basic but clean. "This was our 2nd Voco after Vietnam, we really enjoyed our stay, we love the minimalist style, the breakfast was just right (there was no vegetarian sausages but we were ok with that), the room was clean and they used pillow protectors which was I was very happy about as I don’t think I could sleep without it and the bed was very comfortable with pillow top on it. "We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and always have a pleasant stay. Hotel is spacious, has lovely garden settings to walk out, rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, Staff always pleasent and helpful and we have never had any issues. Pool area and steam and sauna rooms are great, although can sometimes get quite busy. Not yet used the spa facilities or the huge golf area as our stays are normally eat, quick pool usage, breakfast and go. Highly recommend"

"Hotel was nice, a big entrance leading into a big bar and seating area which was a bit busy and loud at times when lots of people. Room was clean and spacious and great choices for breakfast, again very spacious.
