"Good stay for NEC, parking at the hotel was £12.50 for residents for one night… now the food with lounge access…the minimal food that was to be seen was of poor choice when we arrived at 7pm even though there were only 4 people in there, I went to speak to a member of staff, the lady was lovely and went to get some food topped up for us, I’ve stayed in the Chester Crown Plaza, much better choice of food including prawn cocktail etc… Staff excellent, bar man attentive with finding crisps for my husband, comfy large bed, good size room, would stay again as the area looked nice. "

"The receptionist was fantastic - warm, welcoming and so helpful! The room was basic, but good quality for money and lovely carpet! The bed was comfortable- I had the best nights sleep, I didn’t want to get out. It had everything you could ask for! "

"We had a great two night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming and our room faultless, a really great space to work and relax. We used the health club facilities on the Friday night and the supervisor was excellent; very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were a little dated and tired in places but we enjoyed the use of them. Overall a good experience. "

"Overall a good stay. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much bother. Food was exceptional and very good value. Parking was good ,easy and plenty of. The room itself was spacious ,very clean however a bit tired and needed some TLC and new more comfortable mattress and pillows. Overall I would recommend this hotel."

"We got a room last minute as car trouble on way to Devon, couldn’t have been more helpful. 👏👏 lovely room, clean with en suite facilities, staff pleasant and helpful. Nice evening meal and breakfast. Altogether excellent, will certainly come again. 👍👍"

"The hotel has been photographed well, but in reality the hotel has become a bit dated and worn around the edges. The jacuzzi was not working and the pool temperature was cold. Tiles missing in the steam room, and left broken on the floor. The ladies pool changing room showered were dirty with numerous large chunks of grit on the floor. I alerted the staff and though they apologised did not appear to leap into action to rectify the issue. The room I stayed in was missing any bathroom door hooks so my towel got soaked when the water leaked from the shower tray, onto a floor which has clearly been damaged from previous leaks with cracked grout. Bathroom also had dirty and mildly rusty towel radiator. Mattress was acceptable but had seen better days as the did the base of the bed which just looked battered. Food was acceptable but overpriced given the quality. The staff were polite and courteous and the views lovely, but overall I wouldn’t recommend to others. "
