"The staff were very nice and polite ladies. Rooms were a bit smelly and bathrooms needed a bit more attention! Breakfast was very nice and there was always fresh orange juice and vaffels. Parking was next to the hotel! Generally was a very nice experience!"

"Well signposted from the main road to know where to go and an easy parking lot to find. Julia checked me in and she was absolutely lovely. So helpful and kind. The room is fantastic and plenty of space. Bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of space for my bags. A small dining table with tea and coffee was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!! "

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel staff was super welcome and very attentive. The hotel is basically a farm that offer free experiences like bread-making and candle-making. We also booked a private beekeeper experience which was the highlight of our trip which was followed by honey tasting with the local beekeeper Mr Kostas who shared his knowledge and love for the bees. The breakfast was excellent and worth visiting as a standalone offering as well. Thank you so much!"

"The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated. At times you even have the feeling that you have the whole fortress to yourself. Since the family room was the last available option, we had an entire apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to ourselves. The rooms were very clean and spacious, especially for just two individuals. We recommend booking well in advance or checking with the hotel directly so that you can get an appropriately sized room and allow more people to experience the place :) The staff were kind and even helped with our bag up the final winding route to the room. The breakfast was a smaller spread but comprised of very high quality food in our opinion. The complimentary bottle of wine for the stay (a regional variety) was also a nice touch. The view from the room was also quite nice and we could look out onto the sea over the tops of other buildings. It was a really nice experience. We would recommend the hotel for it's location and will consider going back if we visit Monemvasia again."
