"The property was clean and centrally located. The cleaning staff were thorough and pleasant. It was a little confusing checking in as the property is split between two buildings. When I went to check out no one answered the phone and the front desk was unstaffed."

"It was very quiet. We like how is was nestled in the woods. It was a very short distance to Lost Lake. We walked around the lake several times. We were a little disappointed that there was a washer & dryer, but absolutely no detergent. There was only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom."

"The hitching post is a great little motel. Its clean, quiet and well maintained for a older building. The rooms have everuthing u need. if you are checking in after 9pm, there is noone at the desk. so u get a locl box to find your key! A hot tub would be a great addition! or a badminton net or something to do on the property in summer. Close to pemberton and a great thai restaurant. I like the hitching post!"
