nothing at all like what is advertised and the pictures are greatly enhanced to give a view of the property that is nothing like what it is in reality. very dirty, cockroaches, toilet clogged and staff unclogs it by hand!, leaves muddy footprints all over room. etc.

Only thing good about this hotel is in the middle of city and lot of shops around. It’s old and dirty bathtub. Bed mattress is also not firm and very very old. I won’t stay here again,

One-Star Review for Best Western Chinatown Hotel, Yangon. Absolutely Disgusting and Overpriced – Avoid at All Costs! False Advertising at Its WorstI booked a 12-night stay here through Expedia (split into two prepaid bookings: Nov 5-8 and Nov 8-17, 2025), expecting a decent Best Western standard based on the branding, photos, and description suggesting a modern, clean upscale hotel in a convenient location. What I got was a filthy, infested dump that doesn't even deserve two stars, charging prices comparable to actual five-star properties like the Pan Pacific Yangon (where I fortunately moved after just two nights).From the moment I checked in, it was a nightmare:The room was dirty with visible grime. Cockroaches scurried around openly. The toilet was constantly blocked (even when empty), and when I called for help, a staff member tried to unclog it with his bare hand wrapped in a plastic bag – no plunger, utterly unhygienic! I woke up covered in insect bites from the bed bugs or whatever was infesting the linens. Basic amenities were missing: body soap and shampoo dispensers were completely empty on arrival. When I requested refills, staff showed up with diluted mixtures in old water bottles, half-filled the dispensers, refused to top them up properly, and then tracked muddy footprints all over the bathroom floor and even onto the towels. Lights flickered constantly. Internet dropped out repeatedly or didn't work at all. Power outages (common in Yangon) were made worse

スタッフのサービスはいいですし 毎日部屋を綺麗にしてくれるのでとても快適に過ごせます。朝食はパターンなので長期滞在では飽きてしまいます。でも チャイナタウン なので近くにご飯屋がいっぱいあります。ダウンタウンなので タクシーを拾うのにも便利ですし 非常に良い ロケーションです

ヤンゴン市内のこの価格帯のホテルの中ではかなり優良だと思います。 室内の設備や清潔さは問題ありません。とくにシャワールームとトイレはきちんと仕切りがあり、清掃されている感じがありました。 テレビは日本のNHKが映ります。 ネット環境はWIFIが若干遅いながらも十分です。 また、スタッフの対応がとても良く、聞き取りやすく話してくれたのが好印象。 レストランですが、夕食利用の際は中華料理メインで価格も通常レストランと同じくらい。味は美味しい。 朝食バイキングは種類も多く美味しいです。

エレベーターや廊下など老朽化が目立ちましたが、客室は広くて清潔で、シュエダゴンパゴダが眺望できる部屋でした。スタッフは皆フレンドリーで、セキュリティも万全。シャワーはお湯になるまでに時間がかかります。朝食はとても美味しい！周辺には露店が多く、夜まで賑やか。若者に人気の19thストリートにも近く、街歩きには便利な場所でした。

基本的には、便利なホテルです。

写真にも在る様に、エレベーターの５段が邪魔とは思いましたが、隣が小さなコンビニ、ショッピングモールや、チャイナタウンも、近いので、便利でした。 夜、宿の前の道での食事は、好みが分かれるかと。 WIFIは、４M位は出てましたが、携帯SIMの方が､非常に安ですし、４GでのネットがWIFIより数倍早いので、そちら利用も選択肢かと。 朝食は４Fで７時からで、量的にも良かったです。 歯ブラシ、ドライヤー、シャンプー　ボデイソープがアリ。 残念だったのは、 初日、前の宿泊客のゴミがゴミ箱に残っていて、 シャワーの排水も､掃除されていなかったので、排水が弱かったのですが、排水溝の髪など除けば問題なしでした。掃除が適当だったと言わざる得ないかと。

Top Hotel, sensationelles Frühstück, kleines aber

Uns hat das Hotel gut gefallen. Schöne, sichere Lage und ein absolut fantastisches Frühstück, was seinesgleichen in Yangon sucht. Einzig für den Service gibt es Abzug: wir waren auf Honeymoon und hatten ein Zimmer mit Queensizebett gebucht. Das gab es nicht. Alternativ bot mal uns -zum gleichen Preis - ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten oder -gegen Aufpreis- eine Suite an. Da unsere Buchung klar war und scheinbar das Hotel hier in der Planung einem Fehler gemacht hat, hätte ich mir Kulanz gewünscht, statt uns zum selben Preis ein schlechteres Zimmer anzubieten oder uns zahlen zu lassen. Wäre für mich aber kein Grund nicht wieder dort zu buchen.

Property was located just at the edge of Chinatown giving good access to Chinatown and it’s surrounding areas. Some of the sightseeing could be excess by walking

Convenient location in Chinatown walkable to many good restaurants. Told the staff that our flight would arrive pass check in time and they waited for us with no problem.

Good price for a comfortable hotel

This was a nice hotel and the breakfast was great. We liked the room very much. Its not in “tourist central” but was still easily walkable. The markets in the streets around the hotel were fascinating but it did make walking anywher slow going at times

ダウンタウンの真っ只中にありミャンマーの下町の雰囲気が味わえる。室内は静か。

コーヒー・テイーサービス、電気ポットあり シャワーのみ、ＮＨＫOK 部屋は日本のビジネスホテルよりも少し広い ダウンタウンの真っ只中にあるが、ホテル内は整備され、雰囲気もいい。スタッフも洗練されている。 朝食メニューも豊富。 ホテルの前は朝は野菜、果物、魚、肉の路上マーケットとなり、ダウンタウンの雰囲気が理解できる。終日、人通りが多い。空港バスのバス停にも近い(ただし約30分ごと)

Good location, comfortable room (our had a jacuzzi style tub), really good breakfast if you don't expect a lot of American /European selections. Front desk receptionists where ok. Other stuff where helpful. Small but nice exercise room. Excellent massage.

優質滿意的商務出差住宿酒店

雖然酒店有點歷史了，但是維護的還不錯。房間確實也小了點，但是設備都齊全。最重要的是早餐挺不錯的，菜色豐富也有變化。鄰近唐人街、百貨公司、翁山市場值得推薦住宿的。
