"This is a stately property and a symbol of western Nova Scotia! The staff are focused on helping guests, however the maintenance is not being kept up to date. Unless the new owners put significant money into restoring this wonderful property to clean impressive status, it will go down in ratings and depreciate right in front of their eyes. Hospitality has to lead with โ€œheartโ€. Warmth, professionalism, and be delivered with impressive cleanliness and style. Rooms are clean, however the furniture is showing excessive wear! Breakfast had good quality choices, however tables were dressed with worn and very wrinkled table coverings."

"Quiet location with great view of Annapolis Basin. Easy access to ferry terminal. Extremely clean room with comfortable beds. Staff friendly and informative. Unfortunately restaurant was closed for the season, but staff very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Would definitely stay at the Admiral again."

"The water in the bathroom sink was very slow to empty, and when using the stopper, it did not keep the water, we were disappointed that there was no patio door key entry. I had to lock the patio door from inside, and my husband had to pick me up at the front entrance"

"The staff at the property were very nice and helpful. The only difficulty about the property was the lack of an elevator when one of us had mobility problems. The staff volunteered to help us find another property where this wouldnโ€™t be an issue but we loved the property and the location so chose to stay. The staff went out of their way to make things work for us and we had a wonderful stay. I would give this property an extremely high recommendationโ€ฆ my favorite stay of our 5 week long vacation"
