"Lucky we decided not to take dog with us as the garden wasn’t safe & secure as fence was broken on site parking is not on site it’s first come first served no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors a lot of cobwebs a strong smell of dog floor in master bedroom very bouncy floor when walking over also bed mattress very hard & lumpy the switch for bedside lamps hard to access to switch on off & can’t see on advert it’s a upside down house "

10/10 Excellent

"Our 3rd visit in three weeks. My husband was on an evening course so this is an ideal hotel. We came by train this time and it was easier than driving as Exeter Central is opposite the hotel. Usual friendly greeting at reception nothing is too much trouble. Nice clean room with a bath this time luxury for us as we don't have one at home. We visited Drskes this week, which is part of the hotel. It's a pleasant atmosphere and the drinks are reasonable. Checkout is 12pm but we had a train to catch do left earlier. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This is the second stay at The Grand. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We were bed and breakfast , the bed was very comfortable, the room was a decent size and the breakfast was very good. Although the room was clean the main window needs attention as putty is missing which makes it drafty and also it needs painting. The flat roof outside is an eyesore. We found the wifi poor and the size of the tv too small for the size of the room. A big positive for us is the location of the railway station as we will both be 80 years old in a few months we tend to use the train and not the car. We will certainly stay in The Grand in the future and would go for a higher room, as we previously had, in the hope we would have a better view. Thank you for our enjoyable stay."

"This hotel has over 800 rooms, over 8 floors. My Room has twin double beds in it. An impressively large work space and TV stand, this seems purpose built. Also All of the double sockets has usb port integration as well as the standard UK three pin plug. There are tea making facilities in the room, which is replenished everyday along with room service and cleaning. Leonardo's offer a buffet style breakfast this includes contenental and cooked English Breakfast. This is Eat as much as you like, and the price resinable. Leonardo Hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of the city centre, and is served by several regular bus services. ' The hotel, has its own restaurant and bar, that serves an all-you-can-eat Breakfast., Which consists of both continental and full English breakfast"
