"This is a stunner of a place! The grounds are tropical gardens and each cabin is gorgeously designed with local and recyclable materials. breakfast in the garden is divine and dinner in the evenings is hearty with local farm fresh products. To top it all off the owners are so delightful and truly welcoming. A fabulous stay- one we hope to return to! "

"I was met at the property by Rob, one of the two owners, who showed me to my room. The room was well-appointed and the bathroom was exquisitely decorated in tile and tasteful additions. Rob handed me soap wrapped in leaves from the land. He left as I settled in, but returned later to see if I would like an individual pizza as he and Monica were going out. He returned later with not only the hot and tasty pizza, but also bottle of wine to go with it.
This visit was also preceded by travel misfortune. Again, I had no WIFI, and I wasted an hour or two going around in circle in Grecia. Then, when I hit the "highway", I still had no WIFI, so some mis-turns led to a near empty gas tank again. I asked for help from a gentleman walking on the side of the road. The nearest gas station was too far for me to drive with almost no gas. So, this gentleman, Luis, led me to his house, called his friend Fernando to come over, get a gas can, and travel the distance to pick up two gallons of gas. As we waited for him to return, we shared pictures of our families, drank, Coke and ate some of those wonderful Costa Rican cookies. Just as we finished, Fernando came with the gas. He filled the tank, left, and I requested his and Luis' address.
I am so impressed with the all Costa Rican people I have met who go out of their ways to be friendly and helpful to me - a total stranger.
The hosts of the places I have stayed during this trip have been gracious, thoughtful, and wonderful!"
"My wife and I loved this property. 3 adults and 2 children in our group. If you are okay with simple accommodations with great service and beautiful scenery you have to stay here. Grounds were immaculate when we arrived and we were greeted with 2 Toucans as we headed to our cabin. Tons of hummingbirds flying around.
This place just felt so full of life! The hikes on the property were great. Took my 77yr old dad to the waterfall. He had no issues. We were the only ones there our first day and our family had the place to ourselves. It felt like our personal playground. Dinner and breakfast onsite was great and lots of food. Super fresh! Would highly recommend it if you're looking to be with nature! I will definitely come back!"

"Our stay at Casitas Tenorio B&B was the highlight of our trip, if it were available for more nights we could have easily spent several more! The cabin was jungle rustic and also roomy, high ceilinged, spacious, clean, and well appointed - privately sited right in a rainforest parcel in a cozy little enclave of other cabins, trails and the main open reception/breakfast area (we had howler monkeys, a sloth, and amazing birds every single day in the trees above and at our cabin and from the rocking chairs and porches). Don't be concerned about the lack of AC - it was completely comfortable and oftentimes quite cool. Breakfasts were homemade traditional costa rican, including fresh juice and fruit plate - they even adjusted serving time to accommodate one if our early morning excursions. Nana and Jeff were lovely people and amazing hosts sharing their pup Dingo, stories of their farm, an umbrella during a rainy spell, and especially during our amazing homestay cooking class. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with a local neighbor family, being welcomed into their home, learning more about their culture, sharing laughs, and bonus...making (and eating) delicious empanadas and tamales by hand (our teenagers particularly enjoyed the empanada process). Such a special time to truly experince and support local tico way of life and meet beautiful people. A gem of a stay! 10/10."

"We only stayed one night to go to Rio Celeste Waterfall. It is walking distance 8 min from the Cabinas. We didn't have to pay for parking!! Marjory was very helpful when asked what else can we do in the area. We emailed back and forth before our trip. Marjory set us up with Henry as a night tour. We saw a Tapir!!! Not too many people get to see a Tapir in its natural surroundings. I would highly recommend to stay here while visiting the Rio Celeste and then go on the night tour with Henry. Marjory can help with that. While on our hike to the waterfall, Marjory even did our laundry. So thankful!!! We saw a toucan in their backyard and humming birds."
