We have stayed at the kings head a few times now. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and have what you need for a lovely stay. We definately love the resident cat! Would definately recommend anyone to stay here.

the staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more welcoming. upgraded to a lovely mews cottage at the back of the property. very comfortable but that said property in need of some TLC.. Breakfast: Best Omelet i have ever had

Great welcome

We were made to feel very welcome from the second we walked in the door. Everything was explained to us, car parking, breakfast and where the bar was (very important lol) we were so pleased we picked this hotel. The food was great too.

Lovely break away.

The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with updating however for the price you can't really complain. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and attentive. The food is really good, I recommend the steak, it was so tender. We took 2 dogs with us and they were made a fuss of too. This is our 2nd time there and we have booked again already for November.

Friendly place to stay in a great location .

A very pleasant 2 night stay with really good, friendly service. Great location for touring/walking with a variety of things to do/see. Comfortable room with a great breakfast choice and good evening meals in offer in pleasant surroundings. Would stay again.

Friendly welcome lovely food very clean and historical building a proper pub /hotel. The owners were so helpful too nothing was too much bother good atmosphere in the bar .will be back again .
