A delightful place to stay in a great location with lovely hosts. A short 10-15 minute walk and you're in middle of town with all the sights. Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again. Look no further, this is the one you should book.

Everything was perfect, from the hosts, to the room, and location. Lovely little garden, spacious room and nice bathroom, all very clean. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. I will definitely come back!

One Night in York

Had a really nice time , it was only one night but the room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The owners Paul and Fiona went out of their way to make it a nice weekend.

On arrival we asked for early check in which was granted very friendly people the hotel rooms are emaculate. And have everything you can think of Breakfast beautiful and again the selection amazing Stayed in York many times have to say this is the best hotel and will definitely be returning. Very clean, comfortable, slept well. Good sizes room, very nicely decorated. (Country luxury feel) Hotel was very hospitable and friendly, the attention to detail (the little extras made it homely). Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel on the basis of excellent earlier reviews and were very pleased that we did. The hotel is well located, about 15 minutes walk from the Minster, the rooms (and beds) are large and extremely comfortable, the staff and proprietors were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were the best that we've ever had. Highly recommended!
