Checking was quick and easy. The room is large and the beds are comfortable. The Wi-Fi is adequate. The on Y complaint is the shower ran out of hot water before my wife finished her shower.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was what one would expect at a budget motel. The one thing people should be aware of -- it is NOT handicapped accessible. There are steps to the front entrance and to/from the parking lot. The staff were very friendly.

There are better options
I was put in the south end unit on the ground floor. There are holes in the wall. The bathroom light and fan are on one switch. The fan is so loud and in such poor condition that you can't hear yourself think. I took a shower without the light and the door open. I didn't even try the air conditioner as I expected the worse. Noise from a very loud truck outside my door idling for more than 30 minutes at 6:00 AM was not pleasant. Breakfast was crap. Only good thing was no bed bugs.

It was just a less than expected stay. The "breakfast" was bagels from a grocer in a ziplock bag. Seriously, an 18 inch plexiglass box with bagels, and bags of instant oatmeal. The shower had water spraying from the lower spigot. The tv was maybe 24 inches. Just meh.

Our actual hotel room was fine for the price. The problem was there was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. You had to take a wooden stairway up to room. This was hard for my sister and I (in our 60's with back issues and having to carry luggage up and down)The stairway itself, looked like it needed upkeep. Paint peeling all around exterior of building. The breakfast was meager, so we didn't bother with it. Motel fine for an overnight, but I wouldn't stay there again, myself.

Bad Vibes
Gave me a BAD VIBE!!!! My daughter (20) and I were going to be staying in this room and our room’s window would not lock and there was not a screen!!! It looked like the window had been tampered with which would have giving anyone direct access to our room! It was definitely not safe and secure and a very scary feeling. (The door and window are on an outside entrance, as it is a motel.). We were staying there with a friend that had a different room. That room had a huge wet spot by the entrance and it smelled terribly if urine. We decided we would be leaving immediately! They did grant us refunds so we could go somewhere else, which is the only good part of this experience.

This older but well-maintained facility met our needs for an overnight stay. Room was very clean; bed was super-comfortable. Continental breakfast was adequate. A restaurant shares the parking lot if you need a full hot breakfast or other meals. Hosts are very gracious and accommodating.

The sheets on my daughters bed were stained with semen so immediately we swapped to sheets we brought from home. The bathroom reeks like mildew and mold. The door to the room was flimsy and appeared to have been kicked in at some point and screwed backed together. The lady at the front desk was rude and treated us like garbage and argued that although the sheets were stained they were clean. Do not stay here. The reviews I read made me think this would be an enjoyable stay and IT WAS NOT!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Overall, Yorkshire was a good value for an economy motel. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was satisfactory and included coffee, cereal, juice, bagels and yogurt.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bed linen was very soft and clean. Even though the furnishings were old, everything was spotless. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave too Would stay there again when in the area.
