"I only stayed for two nights, but Castle Troy Hotel & Suites was wonderful from start to finish. I arrived during a very busy wedding weekend, and despite having what looked like a hundred things happening at once, every member of the staff I interacted with was warm, patient, attentive, and genuinely kind.
I was in Limerick primarily to attend a concert at Thomond Park and probably asked far more questions than the average guest. Not once did I feel rushed. The staff gave thoughtful advice about transportation, timing, and the local area, and helped make sure I got where I needed to be without stress. One staff member even gave me first-hand advice based on having just seen The Lumineers at Thomond Park earlier in the week, which helped me plan my timing perfectly.
Ironically, I booked a suite that was far more accommodation than I needed for such a short stay, but it was comfortable, spotless, and exceptionally well equipped. The entire property felt welcoming and easy to settle into.
What I’ll remember most, though, isn’t the room. It’s the people. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, and that level of hospitality is something you don’t forget. If I find myself back in Limerick, I would happily stay here again."
"Location was a tad bit out of the way from some activities, the bus, and train, but what it lacked in location, it made up in amenities. The room is spacious, clean, has air conditioning, and the bed is big. Check out is later than most other hotels and the staff was very helpful in holding our luggage and recommending things to do. Comfortable, relaxing, and would definitely stay here again."
"We enjoyed our stay but on reflection I feel that it was mean of them to OFFER an alternative room which had a different bed layout to the one I had booked and access to a room with tea, coffee etc ( which closed at 10pm ??) and then be asked to pay an extra €30.
I was contacted after checking out to pay for extras which had been paid for at checkout.
The staff were all very friendly and breakfast was good."
"Excellent staff. They made our friends (travelling with us one of whose was ill) stay very memorable going out of their way to make them comfortable."
"Attended a wedding here in April 26 and had the best wedding meal and breakfast the next day was equally as good. Went back for a short stay in June and was not dissapointed. Everything about this hotel is top notch."
