Lanterman's Grist Mill
Great scenery! Worth the visit!
Very scenic Metro Park. I would think this is a photographer's dream come fall time.
The highlight of hiking the Gorge trail is the many scenic views of Lanterman's Mill. Lanterman’s Mill was built in 1845-46 by German Lanterman and Samuel Kimberly. The mill was restored in 1982-85 and operates today as it did in the 1800s, grinding corn, wheat, and buckwheat.
The Gorge Trail is a breathtakingly beautiful two-mile loop along Mill Creek. The trail consists of a boardwalk and is bordered on one side by the stream and on the other side by a massive wall of sandstone.

Nice rooms and comfortable beds. The restaurant down stairs was great for dinner. We were told they had breakfast 7-10 but they still were not open when we left after 8am. The shower is poorly designed, you have to be all the way inside to turn it on, so you either soak your clothes and step out ...

Room was super clean….the upkeep of the hotel itself is very well maintained. And let me tell you…..the BED was theeee most comfortable hotel bed I’ve EVERRRR slept on!! I still think about it two weeks later, lol!!! Would recommend Comfort Inn Suites all day long!!
