"We had a wonderful stay at Birchwood Resort this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The property is incredibly clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Our cabin/room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and feel at home. What really sets Birchwood apart is the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. It’s obvious the owners take great pride in making every guest’s stay special. The location is perfect—close enough to enjoy everything the Cadillac area has to offer, yet quiet enough to truly unwind. The resort is within a short walk of the lake and offers cabins, motel rooms, and RV sites, making it a great option for different types of travelers. If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and relaxing place to stay in Cadillac, I highly recommend Birchwood Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and are already looking forward to coming back. "We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. For the price it is one of the cleanest well kept places we have stayed for half the price. No hotel smell to it with all new furnishings and carpet. Room was beautiful and the sheets were amazing! Top quality! Cream cheese danish in the morning was a treat and the desk man ran my charger I left in our room out to me. Very friendly staff. There is a fantastic restaurant by the lake that is walking distance as well. We would go back."

"The room was very cute, with a cabin type vibe. The bathroom was small, but plenty of space to get ready in front of a mirror. We played the 9 hole golf course, which was fun and more challenging than expected- a hidden gem! The pool and hot tub were both warm and very clean, with a deck area for relaxing. The only caveat was the dining area is only open for breakfast and lunch during the summer months. Not a big deal though since there were so many restaurants around to choose from. We will stay here again."
