"We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!"

"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "Hotel Baia Verde is a great place to stay when visiting Sicily! Beautiful location, rustic & classic vibe, with modern services, just outside the city of Catania. Along the coast, you get sun, sea, great refreshing pool, pool bar & restaurant that has some great options. They have a large entertaining area for conferences & weddings. As well as a spa. I really appreciated my time with them! Thanks again!"

"My adult son and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location was perfect on Etna Ave which is the Main Street. The room was clean and we had a room facing the street. There were no noise issues since there was a steel door and a glass door. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. The staff communicated through WhatsApp which was easy. I highly recommend staying here."

"Parking was fantastic, especially our parking valet Joseph. I do not like the small spaces & he really helped me & I many others park our cars. The staff was lovely - everyone was very kind. However, I did not really enjoy the layout in regard to views. To enjoy the seaview from my room, I had to stand in the middle of my room - you can’t see it sitting. Even from the balcony, the plants & planter block the view. It was the same for the pool area. Only, 5 lounge chairs, next to the shower, have a view. You must stand to see anything pretty from the other pool lounge chairs. I do not understand why the view is not more accessible/enjoyable. It is a shame that the design hides the best part of the hotel."
