"Well, didn’t expect too much of it, but it turned out to be the coziest little ‘hotel’. Family owned with a very friendly hostess. Very clean room, stunning rural breakfast and a big balcony. A real throwback in time considering the standards, but that just adds to the charm! "

"This is a lovely old well maintained hotel at top of Gjirokaster with great views over valley and hills. Rooms were in excellent condition and breakfast was amazing - the best we had anywhere in Albania. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful hotel, newly built last year. Beautifully decorated in Albanian style and lots of Albanian pictures/artefacts etc on show. Room was very comfortable and a good size, shower was lovely. Breakfast was great, was made when we arrived in morning and brought out to us fresh. This included some hot Albanian foods, fruit, juice, coffee, cake. Lovely! Staff very friendly and helpful and the manager gave us a lift up to the town at night. Location great, just about 10 minute walk to bus...

"Claimed not to have our booking for two rooms for two nights - not sure if them or hotels.com. Offered us one room for the three of us - not ideal, I’m convinced they did have other spare rooms. The location is ok. It wasn’t particularly clean and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Not impressed. "

"Großes Zimmer, mit gutem Bad, außer dass der Abfluss nicht so richtig funktionierte. Nach dem Duschen stand fast das gesamte Bad unter Wasser. Ist aber dann recht schnell trocken geworden. "This hotel is spendid. Its very clean, staff is kind. Beach is absolutely beautiful. Food was delicious. However with the location, the street and area look very poor. The street badly needs a repavement. If you enjoy spending all day at the beach, maybe hit the bar or restaurant later and sleep, this is the perfect place. Overall id give it a 10/10"
