"The hotel was a bit tired, but the "room" was huge, with a living room, 2 toilets and a loft with 2 double beds. The hotel was of an older date and had no elevator, so it was a little harder to have to drag your heavy suitcase up all those stairs."

"Villa Carlton is a beautifully preserved 1920's building within three or four minutes walk of Zakopane town centre. The public areas of the hotel are very original and retain all the charm of that era. Our room however had been fitted out with cheap white composite wood carpentry which was a rather nasty contrast. The mattress and pillows were of very poor quality. On arrival the room was very clean, but housekeeping was minimal with towels changed once in six nights, and the bath, floors etc...
