It’s a throw back to the days of drive up motor court motels. If you’re looking for cookie cutter chain hotels with multiple floors and stuff like pools and weight rooms, this isn’t it. But if you want a great nights sleep on an awesome mattress in the quietest place you’ve ever stayed at, with super friendly and accommodating staff, no traffic, easy in and out, and great price…Bakers is for you. You park right next to your door and walk right in with your stuff. Could not be easier or more convenient. So close to Muskingum University, the Wilds, and other locations. Really enjoyed the stay. It’s been around a long time but has enough updates to be comfortable.

A very clean room in a very quiet location. Easy access off the interstate and into Zanesville. It's an older property but nicely maintaned by the family that runs it.

Checks all the boxes: Simple, clean, comfortable, affordable, pet friendly. I had a large truck and trailer and there was plenty of room to park. Really has that old roadside motel feel, kinda like stepping back in time for a night. Would definitely stay again!

This was a quaint historic motel and a quiet town. The owner was very friendly and even opened his antique and collectables shop next door for us to look around. It was a fun change from the typical budget motel.

The room was spacious with a nice table and chairs for game playing. The owner was friendly and check-in went smoothly. The room we were assigned was in the back of the building and entry through a hallway did not have a welcome or safe feel. I was glad not to be alone for this stay. The price was appropriate for the accommodations.

I travel 100 days a year on business. Don't like spending money on overnights. Love finding great values. So,if you like a "great" 1960's MOTEL....where you pull up to your room. Clean and well kept property...than you can't beat this $70 room for the night! Love the classic "MOTELS."

I travel for business. Still appreciate the value of "classic" 1960's MOTELS. All I want in a Motel is a clean room, good mattress and good shower. Love pulling up to my room to unpack. The Baker Motel has it all. Only negative is that it is 5 miles from any restaurant. I will be back.
