"We had a trouble at check in which was resolved quickly by the helpful staff. The room was clean and had a hairdryer in the bathroom. We loved the rooftop pool. Plenty of breakfast options and a beautiful beach. The location is perfect and we felt very safe there."

"This is a hotel of opposites. Great location in stone town but down a dark alley you can’t quite drive to the door. Helpful reception but we’d booked 3 rooms and they initially gave us 2. Lovely clean spacious rooms but others with no view or very noisy. Wonderful old character but random electrical sockets - could only have the (empty) fridge OR the kettle OR the light plugged in. "The view overlooking the beach during sunset is breathtaking. The weather was just perfect during end of Aug- beginning of Sep. The place is very well maintained with the staff being always helpful with a smile. When departing, they provided free shuttle to the airport."
