"A very nice hotel. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb! Our room was very clean. Lots of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. They gym equipment on the beach is in poor condition which is a shame, as is the mini golf course. Also, on our final day we wanted to have the early breakfast at 0630. Unfortunately, staff only opened the breakfast room at 0640 and therefore we only had 10 minutes to eat as we needed to leave for the airport. Overall, a very good hotel and staff were very friendly."

The staff speaks many languages, Greek, English and German. True Cretan food with amazing chefs! Again, best resort that takes care of everything for you! From excursions with lunch to romantic dinners on the beach. They truly have not forgot any detail! A great place to getaway and truly feel like you are on a vacation where everything is taken care of for you! "

"Staying at the Metropole Urban Hotel in Heraklion was a highlight of our trip. This modern, centrally located hotel was immaculate, well-appointed and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony with gorgeous views of the Cathedral of Agios Minas set on a busy city square lined with restaurant terrasses and loaded with happy families, the children having the time of their lives playing football, hide-n-seek and riding scooters throughout the day and evening. Such an idyllic setting! We were within easy walking distance of shopping and popular attractions such as the Venetian Fortress on the water as well as the extraordinary Archaeological Museum. The staff at Metropole Urban were friendly and professional and the room rate was very reasonable, especially considering the extremely abundant and delicious breakfast that came with it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a memorable Heraklion experience."

"Such a fantastic customer service. We have nothing but praise for this lovely hotel and all of the staff. There was nothing too difficult or strange. We got caught in the strikes and arrived early and they had the room so let us checkin early. The half board was excellent with great meat at the taverna and there was so much food at breakfast as well. Beautiful setting and easy and comfortable room with a private pool, perfect for family!
