"Excellent food. Beautiful grounds and building. Our room was in the annex building. Bed was hard as rock. Felt like sleeping on a gym mat."

"The hotel has something of an 'old world' charm. We appreciated very secure parking for our bicycles and early check-in. One of the young waiters in the restaurant was particularly helpful, with excellent English. The reception staff helped us make a phone call to another hotel for future bookings.The breakfast was fine - nothing special. The room was comfortable and quiet and clean."

"The suites in the main castle are a special experience. The only negative would be the several stairs to climb to get from the reception to the room in the chateau."
