"Lovely couple hosts, always happy to help if needed. The spaces are clean, and the modern kitchen is available if you’d like to prepare a meal. The house has a back garden and safe off-street parking, and it was a quiet place to sleep.
One small suggestion would be to update the bath towels. Fresh, good-sized towels make a big difference for comfort and give guests that extra feeling of care and quality during their stay.
Overall, a warm welcome and very good value for the money in that area.

"I had never stayed in a property which did not have a front of house staff, and was nervous about doing so, but I need not have worried. My stay at Whitlock16 was seemlessly managed from start to finish. The hotel itself is really well designed and maintained, everything was bright, well decorated and spotlessly clean. "Fantastic. Nice room in a quiet area near the University, easily walkable to the city center. The little courtyard must be great in the warmer months. Room was clean, has air conditioning (though I mostly used the heating settings!) and the bed is very comfortable. I really appreciated the kitchen with a fridge and all the equipment I needed for my breakfast. Recommend!"
