We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a beautiful mountain view. The property itself is lovely, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Plus, everything in the area was convenient and within walking distance!

We stayed only one night at the Hotel Ambassador in Zermatt. I wish we could have stayed longer. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional, the rooms were more spacious than expected and the hotel amenities were clean and accommodating. The view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was breathtaking.

An excellent hotel, well situated close to the train station. Very efficient and friendly staff, the rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. Great breakfast. Can highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Zermatt.

Overall great experience at Hotel Ambassador. The property is very neat and clean, and the staff is wonderful and helpful. Best of all, it's located right next to the train station, restaurants, and shopping market. Perfect place to stay in Zermatt!

The hotel was a very short walk to the train station. Each room had a balcony, and ours had a view of the Matterhorn. The floor of the shower had a crack, was apparently leaking, and causing dry rot at the base of the door frame of the bathroom (we reported this to the front desk.) The breakfast was ample, attractively displayed, and tasty. Each room had a small safe for storing valuables when away from the room.

The cost of accommodation in Zermatt is staggering. Value is something you have to let go. Having said that, this hotel was my favourite stay during my two weeks in 🇨🇭. The breakfast was outstanding, our room had two separate bedrooms so everyone slept well. The spa (pool, hot tub, saunas) were lovely and the location was only 200 meters from the train station and very close to the Main Street. We had a view of the Matterhorn from our room.

Our room was very clean and comfortably large. The location was outstanding, being conveniently close to the train station and Main Street with it being load or overly touristy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a great start to each day! We were visiting during the epic European heat wave and while the hotel did not have air conditioning the doors to the balconies were convenient and easy to keep open to create a draft. Thick curtains kept the sun out during the day to keep the room from warming too much. This was our favorite hotel from our Switzerland trip visiting 4 different hotels.
