"This is second time we stayed here… Place is well maintained and still in very good condition despite our last visit pre-covid in 2018. Highly commend service of check-in staff Nit Gan especially since male guest in front of us gave her a long and super hard time but she didn’t flinch a beat and served us with super efficiency and accommodate our request for early check-in despite we arriving at around 1pm. Housekeeping team cleaned up the room very well plus very prompt to provide us with additional pillows and ice. This is definitely the best hotel on the stretch and will choose to stay here again for my next trip to Haikou."

"Beautiful property. Excellent staff. Even though there was a language barrier all the staff had translator apps so we could easily communicate. We had a beautiful view over the water and the light show was fantastic! Really lovely hotel"

"The location is in a new part of zhanjiang. One can take the number 48 bus to the xiashan pedestrian street, using Microsoft map, and 41 to Zhongshan road 1. Both places I recommend going to in the late afternoon or evening. There is also the city mall behind the crown plaza hotel. Zhanjiang is a third tier city and if you do not speak mandarin , and speak Cantonese. You will be fine. The massages are great and the price point is excellent. I recommend staying at least 5-7 days to really see the city, the old and new. "

"This is the newest hotel in Haikou and opened during the pandemic period. Had high expectations as I last visited in 2018 and this was still building and I stay at nearby Hilton Haikou. A few issues we had which is why we gave 3-star rating: 1. The hotel’s main lobby and breakfast at all day dining area was located at 35th and 34th floor respectively but the rooms are located at lower levels… very odd planning 2. The corridor way from lift lobby to rooms are designed using dark colors… makes it feel narrow and not so welcoming as we walked to our room. 3. Was on 24th floor also and some hotel guests smoking in their rooms even though it’s a non-smoking hotel and these inconsiderate guests left they room doors open allowing cigarette smoke to flow into corridor way. 4. I saw a couple of times housekeeping team passed by and nothing was done over the course of my 3D2N stay… therefore the 4-star ratings on staff service 5. While the hotel is only 3 years old and factoring the pandemic, condition of property pales in comparison to Hilton Haikou which we went over for dinner on 1 of the night during our stay. The next time we visit Haikou, unlikely we will stay at this hotel again… I have severe allergies issue and the cigarette smell given it’s central air conditioning gave me quite a bit of issue during my stay.
