"We arrived late and booked the room through Expedia to save some money. We got a king room with a kitchenette. That was great because we had frozen items in a cooler that needed to be placed in the freezer overnight. The bed in the room was very comfortable, including the pillows. I used the shower and noticed that a prior occupant had placed part of a false eyelash on the wall. This wasn't noticed by housekeepinh to remove it. I wouldn't have noticed it either, if I didn't use the shower. Otherwise the bathroom was clean. The chair next to the desk needs to be replaced cause the vinyl on the headrest and on the seat was peeling off and clearly noticeable as big patches were down to the cloth with bits on the floor. We didn't use the desk chair. The couch was nice, but could use a good cleaning of the cloth. There were visible stains. Otherwise the room looked newly remodeled as the walls were painted and floors looked clean and fresh. The breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. There was fresh fruit, juices, waffles made to order, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, along with biscuits and gravy. Other than the tired desk chair, and a few stains, it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel. Possibly the other rooms have been remodeled completely with newer furniture. Also they should remove the older loveseat on the second floor next to the elevator. It looked like it was left over from b4 the renovation."
