"The hotel is a beautiful garden oasis near the airport. Very tranquil, with a wonderful restaurant that specializes in Mexican food. Room was clean with nice view of pool. I had a nice rest before my early morning flight out of SJO. I will definitely go back. The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to put better, brighter lighting in the bathrooms."

"My friends and I stayed in this hotel to explore the Central Valley and the location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved their breakfast options including fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh corn tortillas, rice and beans. We ate dinner there one night and it was very good. One of my friends had a beef dish and I just wanted a plate of vegetables, which was delicious. If you decide to stay here, consider bringing ear plugs as planes fly over the hotel occasionally throughout the night. We all thought the beds and pillows were too firm. Even with these issues, we would stay there again because of the amazing staff. "

"Our stay at Villa Margarita was beyond fantastic. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating, grounds were beautiful. Margarita went out of her way to make sure that you always felt at home and had whatever you needed. Very relaxing stay. Just what we wanted."

"The blinds were so thin you can see inside the rooms. The door had no locks from the inside. Ants were always everywhere even at dinner time. Only one sweet lady who did an amazing job running the entire place and it seemed like I was the only one there at the time. This spa is not a good place too stay. Not even an iron or air conditioner was in the rooms at all either and list goes on. Stay away!"
