The staff was wonderful. The only thing is that if you need them late at night, the front desk people don’t work late. You can’t get room service eating options.

While the property is not well-marked (the sign is small), it is in an excellent location with regards to the Hauptbahnhof. Lots of shopping options abound. The hotel is definitely older and has less than 40 rooms. Noises from neighbors are easily heard. It was very clean, and the staff were all very accommodating.

This hotel is in a FANTASTIC location, very close to the central train station and easily walkable to all the old town attractions. The staff was very nice and helpful. On the downside - this property is old and in terrible condition. Marks all over the walls in the room, horrible smell of mildew in the bathroom and shower, no climate control at all, window was extremely difficult to open/close, and extremely noisy in the hallways from cleaning staff, starting at approximately 6:30am (no noise-proofing and the halls have tile floors so everything echoes loudly). I travel a lot and have stayed in all classes of hotels over the years in many different international cities; I expected a lot more based on the price and star level of this hotel. I would like to reiterate that the front desk staff was great, friendly, and very helpful; but, I was very glad that I only spent 2 nights here based on the condition of the property.
