"Hotel Venere is right on the main street in town. The Pizza/Sub place across the street was a great choice. We had a double room w/sleep sofa. (Very comfortable) for 5 adults. This was one of the only rentals that would take a couple of days instead of Saturday to Saturday. The young man behind the desk was very helpful and spoke English. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Nice looking little hotel, not on the cleanest street, but close to the beach. I was shown to my room, which was quite small so Iasked for a larger one. They were very obliging, and gave me a different room, which was a bit bigger, even though I lost the pool view....I didn't mind. There was nowhere to put my luggage, other than on the floor. Very limited hanging space, the towels were quite thin and rough and no robes provided. I would have expected some little luxuries given the description...

"Key location to visit Cilento. Very welcoming staff. Italian breakfast (a pastry and a drink) was served at a nice bar 100 meters away, which counted on a lovely terrace. Private parking just in front of the townhouse, although limited slots. However, public parking was free all along the street. We stayed in a quadruple room and cooking facilities were also provided. Top quality mattresses!"
