"This hotel has two options - major renovation or rebrand as a 1990s experience. The decor, facilities and menus are seriously dated. However, the service is excellent and very friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfy and it’s in a fab location due to the view and proximity to several bays & beaches. I asked for a quiet room so I didn’t have the best view but still pretty. However, I was next to the housekeeping store cupboard and one morning housekeeping started at 7:30am and it was really...

"The Haven was clean with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with excellent water pressure. We had a lovely view of the harbor. The area was quiet and felt safe. The host was warm, helpful and welcoming and even helped us with storing our excess luggage. We enjoyed popping over the the pub next door for a nice dinner before having a restful night. Would absolutely recommend!"

"Room a decent size for 2 toddler. We were on the top floor and there's no lift- not a problem for us as we just left the pushchair in the car each time. Location is great as its right by the beach. Breakfast was good. Very happy for the price we paid. "

"No surprises, everything you see online is what it is. Place is VERY clean, host is WONDERFUL. We stayed in the south room and it was excellent, spacious, hot water, VERY comfortable bed and pillows. The rock beach is literally 5 mins walking distance, great breeze from two windows that fully open. Walking from port is about 15 min, some hills but manageable "
