Beautiful big bed. Had a wonderful sleep. Only had one drink here as they were having a charity event. Bathroom was the only let down as floor unsafe and basin was cracked.

A pleasant stay in the country.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Both the tv and internet worked well and a cool breeze was maintained by keeping the window open, which we weren't comfortable with, as it was on the ground floor, but it seemed like a safe area, to do so. There was a food truck on the premises which my husband thoroughly enjoyed!

The people running the Inn are amazingly helpful. I asked for help with 2 things while we were there and they did more than i asked for. Room was large. Bed was very comfortable. Shower in room 8 was small but adequate and the water was hot rather than just warm like other places we've stayed this trip.

Great Place to stay not far from anywhere.

We had a lovely time here. The staff are all really friendly. I brought my little dog along as its dog friendly & they gave him some treats too. Had a great nights sleep, really comfortable & quite. The breakfast was great all you xan wat for £10 well worth it. Also there is a takeaway van in the car park which sells Kebabs etc so perfect for a Chicken Shish 🐔 👌

Lovely stay

Check in staff about to leave when we arrived. no bar, no restaurant, no Breakfast. Room with heating stuck on high. bathroom with smell of mould.

The property was ok for my 2days limited service as was Christmas. Some items in shower room were in need of upgrade shower head and hose leaked and cold. Tap in sink had to be held to turn off as was loose

This was booked a week in advance of us travelling from wales to accommodate me and my partner helping my daughter as she was going into hospital to have a baby, so wanted somewhere local to calne. We had our welbehaved dog with us too. Having parked up in the carpark we entered via the signposted reception door at the rear..there were several paving slabs smashed and stuck up very dangerous an accident waiting to happen. As we entered to check in, the reception desk was literally in the dark and there was an open loft ladder hatch with a rope dangling right in the walk way to the bar. I then had to walk thru into the bar area before i could find a member of staff Eventually Yazz showed us to room 5 which on 1st glance looked cosy and inviting but any room would after uve just driven 3hrs. All we needed was a nice clean comfortable room. This was EVERYTHING BUT THAT! Yazz left and said we could catch up with her later to pay and if we needed her thats were shed be. After shed fled the room i couldnt help notice the obvious cobwebs dangling spot lights and virtually covering everywhere, tv was same with a thick layer of dust, kettle with water still in it, The bed was a whole new story, after peeling the duvet back, there was no mattress protector! But only a wee stained quilt, that had been used to cover all the human hair that was matted in to the 2 single mattresses, that also had yellow stains n blood covering them delightful! The bathroom was awful too, 2nd rm as bad re

We recently stayed here for two nights. The room was okay, lots of loose fittings in the bathroom, but, it was perfectly fine for two nights. Whereas, the hospitality was fantastic. We were made to feel SO welcome. They recommended where we could eat, and even said we could eat a takeaway in the pub, so, although they dont do breakfasts or evening meals in the week, they certainly went above and beyond to solve the no food proble. FANTASTIC 😊👍

Greeted well, shown to room Relaxed genuine conversation. Double bed made up of two singles. Soft & possibly older mattress but comfortable with the extra topper (which creates the lump down the middle of the bed) slept well; 2 pillows with only 1 spare in the wardrobe. Both a fan & a heater provided (central heating radiator present) We had a far-end room & because it was very warm weather, the exit door to the car park was open constantly, which meant we heard cars coming and going late/early far more; double-glazed window. Cleanliness was pretty good but lacking attention to detail: old spider webs, very dirty fire sensor and lights (signs of smoking in room - tar marks present) Also the bathroom cabinet when opened smelt very musty probably from lack of use. Generally the decoration is tired with marks on the walls, some chipped paint and carpet marks- a good deep clean would help. Very small en-suite, shower cubicle was a corner unit meaning you lose 25% of space inside. The tap is poorly positioned (at the shallower end of the unit) such that it was easy to knock it with an elbow..frustrating as getting the correct temperature wasn’t easy- you need a faster flow to keep the hot water coming through (guessing their cold water pressure is much higher and an instant boiler) and occasionally the hot would disappear (maybe because of other users) Having said all that, I think the room is a decent size & for the cost was very good value- I hope they can resolve some of issues
