We stumbled across this BnB quote by accident whilst looking for a stop-over on our drive back to the UK from Tuscany - what a find!!! The rooms are immaculate, all modern comforts and beds you just don’t want to get out of in the morning. There is a beautiful pool too which was a welcome relief after a long, hot drive. The staff go above and beyond to help and whilst there is no restaurant for dinner, they provide you with ample options to go to locally. There is a riding school on site too and had I known before, I would have definitely booked a ride in there! The setting is tranquil and rural, surrounded by vineyards, orchards and paddocks. You really can’t ask for more!

Nice family room, but the sleeping couch for the children was old and not comfortable. The covid guidelines could be better respected (certificate control in restaurant, open windows, masks).

Fint hotel dog med komfort-problemer

Positivt: Dejligt område nær Alba, god morgenmad, ok restaurant til aften, dog lidt kedeligt, godt poolområde, venligt personale, rent og pænt på værelset. Negativt: Wifi virker ikke, vi fik et meget småt værelse, mørkt, aircon var på overarbejde og hvis man gerne sover køligt er den ikke effektiv nok, ikke noget køleskab, utroligt tynde vægge til naboen - vi blev vækket flere gange i løbet af nætterne af en grædende baby. Bed evt. om et værelse, der ikke støder til et familieværelse. Generelt et hyggeligt sted, men forstyrrelser fra andre gæster - både fra gangen og tilstødende værelser - og den dårlige temperaturregulering trækker ned.

The place is beautiful and quiet. Easy to get to and in the middle of nature. Only thing, the bed was noisy and I had to sleep with earplugs, but overall I would recommend this place.

Smukt og roligt sted

Et fantastisk sted til afslapning i rolige og smukke omgivelser. Velkomsten i receptionen var desværre noget upersonlig og kortfattet, men herefter blev det bedre. Værelset var pænt og rent, og de udendørs områder er utroligt dejlige. Poolområdet indbød til afslapning, og der var plads til både børn og voksne. Morgenmad og aftensmad blev indtaget udendørs med udsigt over vinmarker og grønne bakker. Meget smukt. Morgenmaden var lækker og bestod bl.a. af yoghurt, musli, frisk frugt, æg og bacon, brød og pålæg, croissanter samt et imponerende antal kager. Kaffen laves på bestilling og er god og varm. Til aften kan vælges mellem et lille antal retter, der skifter hver dag. Priserne er særdeles rimelige (ca 15 euro for en hovedret og 14 euro for en flaske af den egenproducerede velsmagende rødvin), og maden veltillavet og velsmagende. Dog fik vi samme tilbehør to dage i træk til hovedretten. Der var lidt myg på stedet, men personalet stillede myggespray frem til brug for gæsterne, og det klarede problemet. Alt i alt et pragtfuldt sted, som vi meget gerne vender tilbage til. Vær opmærksom på, at stedet er forkert placeret på google maps. Der er skilte mod stedet ved afkørslen på Via Torino i Canale.

We enjoyed our stay.

Newly renovated hotel. Very beautiful surroundings and rooms. Nice pool area with all day sun. The breakfast was lovely and the view from the terrace is beautiful. They serve delicious dinner with a new a la carte menu every night. They also serve vegetarian dishes. All together we enjoyed our stay, and the only downside is the location which is a bit remote and Canale seems like a very sleepy town.
