Well, first the front desk person didn't give us a key. So I had to walk all the way back to reception to get the key. Then we noticed that there was no electricity in the room, so I had to walk back again. They told us to switch rooms and gave us the key to the next place. The last thing was that the hair dryer didn't work. Staff wasn't very accommodating or sorry for the multiple inconveniences. Water park was amazing as usual and breakfast was delicious.

Terrible experience

It was a very bad experience at every stage. We waited in line for a long time at the entrance. We were not informed enough about the facility. We had difficulty finding the room we would stay in. The luggage cabinets were too small, our luggage did not fit. When we entered the room, there were a few belongings of previous guests and no towels in the room. We talked about the situation, but 2 hours later the problem was still not solved. Finally, I went to the reception, which was very far from our room, and by speaking to another disinterested, sullen employee, we were able to get 4 small hand towels. We were literally disgraced in a place where we paid a lot of money to stay. The pools were mediocre, it was difficult to find empty sunbeds, food and drink were mediocre. You feel cold after getting out of the pool, the temperature is not enough. The radiators in the corridor as we entered the room were not working and it was very cold. We asked for a taxi at the check-out and they gave us a small piece of paper with 4 mobile phone numbers written on it. We searched and struggled to find a driver. It wasn't a holiday, it was a nightmare. I will never go there again. I also don't recommend it to anyone.

Wir waren in der Ferienzeit dort mit Übernachtung. Leider war das Personal nicht auf diesen Andrang ausgelegt. Check-In Zeit min. 1 Stunde sowie Frühstücksandrang mit langer Schlange. Beim Buchung eines Hotelzimmers im Ohana-Bereich wird mit Frühstück in diesem Hotelbereich gelockt, wird jedoch dann doch zusammengelegt mit dem Frühstück aller übrigen Gäste in der Halle. Dort war dann entsprechendes Chaos vorzufinden. Grundsätzlich keine normalen Löffel beim Frühstück, sondern nur Papplöffel. Der Grund dafür ist völlig schleierhaft. Cornflakes mit Milch und Papplöffeln ist eher weniger schön. Die Poolanlagen sind super, auch die Wassertemperatur. Leider war keine Erholung auf den Liegen möglich, da nicht genügend vorhanden.

Das Zimmer war an sich schön, aber einige Dinge waren defekt (Handtuchhalterung, Regal) und es wurde nur sehr oberflächlich saiber gemacht. Es war alles voller Sand und Zahnpasta klebte am Boden, es wirkte so aös wäre der Fußboden bei der Reinigung nicht bedacht worden. Ausserdem war die situation mit dem Fahrstuhl etwas nervig. Einer war defekt, laut Aussage einiger gäste schon seit Mai 2024. Dafür war das Frühstück wirklich gut und es war insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Die Ohana Lodge war ganz schön, sie hat direkten Zugang zum Dome. Leider hat kein Fahrstuhl während des Aufenthaltes funktioniert. Das Frühstück war schrecklich. Massenabfertigung. Man musste Schlange stehen, bis man reinkonnte. Dann beim Buffet wieder lange Schlangen. Alles total wuselig und nicht appetitlich. Das Tropical Island ist riesig und schon cool aber überfüllt. Wie im Urlaub reservieren die Leute gleich ihre Liegen und kommen nicht wieder. Also gab es eigentlich schon um 10 Uhr keine freien Plätze mehr.

2 von 3 Fahrstühle waren kaputt, die Zimmerkarte war kaputt, das Zimmer/Bad war dreckig, Rezeption in Ohana nicht besetzt/keine Telefonnummer zur Rezeption am Haupteingang hinterlegt insofern sehr umständlich und weite Strecken und zeitaufwendig bei Problemen von denen es viele gab. Tropical Island selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen - einen Vormittag gab es Probleme, weshalb die Rutschen, Whirlpools nicht funktioniert haben. Alles in allem sehr viel Geld für wenig Erholung und viel Ärger.

Ein Dieb hat unser gesamtes Bargeld aus dem Portemonnaie entwendet – sowohl Banknoten als auch Münzen. Die Sicherheitslage ist äußerst bedenklich, und unsere Reise wurde dadurch erheblich beeinträchtigt und äußerst unangenehm gemacht.

Wir haben unser Comfort Zimmer sehr dreckig in Empfang nehmen dürfen. Die Betten waren nicht neu bezogen Fußboden schmutzig. Wir haben uns extra ein Comfort Zimmer ausgesucht-schade. Die Anlage ist aber sehr schön und es hat Spaß gemacht. Essen ist auch gut und ausreichend gewesen.

Leider waren im Zimmer (Ohana Family) schon einige Kleinigkeiten defekt: Handtuchhaken im Bad aus der Wand gerissen, Türrahmen lose, Temperaturregel defekt (plastik-Verkleidung abrissen, so dass elektrische Kontakte frei zugänglich sind... Gefahr!!!) Das Personal an der Rezeption war außerdem nicht hinreichend über die Parkplätze und Checkout-Möglichkeiten informiert. So mussten wir unnötige 7 EUR Parkgebühr zahlen und hätten zum Checkout einmal durch die komplette Halle laufen sollen, obwohl man direkt im Ohana auschecken kann.

The dome itself is set out well. Maps identify where all the pools are. There are only one set of showers (that we found!) centrally located. Food is pricey inside the dome. €2.90 for a doughnut. We opted for the refillable cup €19 from 9am until 11.59pm. You could fill up from various machines every 45minutes. Lots of restaurants we went to Sawadee Buffett was €29 pp. Good selection of food. The camping area was clean and toilets a short walk away. VERY VERY hot inside the tents and no AC. Inside the dome was really hot. The pools are good sizes and when we visited (August) it was busy there was still room. Some longer queues for flumes. Been once and don’t need to go again.

Leider war der Wasserhahn in der Unterkunft kaputt wie auch die Fernbedienung nur schwer zu bedienen war, aufgrund von leerer Batterie. Der Boden war extrem Sandig. Vor Ort wurde aus alles Geld geschöpft wie beim Buffet 35€ pro Person ohne Getränke und schlechter Qualität. Getränke konnte man sich überlegen einen Tages Becher im Wert von 19€ zu nehmen den man alle 30 min auffüllen konnte. Parken kostet bis zu 7€ täglich ebenfalls extra. Eigene Essen und Trinken mitzunehmen ist nicht erlaubt. Man sollte sich auf extrem lange Warte Zeiten einstellen bei uns 45 min nur für das Check in. Persönliche Meinung viel zu wenig und langsame Mitarbeiter, dafür sehr freundlich. Es war schön einmal das Tropical Island gesehen zu haben jedoch aufgrund von mangelnder Hygiene und weiteren Umständen würde ich nicht noch einmal dieses Besuchen.

Es war wirklich sehr schön dort wir hatten spass und sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Essen war sehr gut unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr Neu. Wir waren sehr begeistert.
