Well worth a visit!

Nice hotel in idillic Spa Town. Beautiful location with “interesting “ access mountain roads from the Spanish side! Comfy stopover for us with nice restaurant Very pleasant & helpful staff but not much English could be spoken however, we got by with our little French & Spanish. A memorable place!

Great location and staff adequate, some helpful, some rude, but obviously skimping on basic room amenities, like soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue and linens. One tiny soap to use in both sink and shower, and when they “cleaned” the room they didn’t replenish, nor were emptied coffee cups removed. No pad and pen, no complimentary water or coffeemaker, no chairs on the balcony. Some simple comforts would have made all the difference, but when we return we’ll stay elsewhere.

Mitigé, lit inconfortable mais cadre agréable

Nous avons eu une première chambre qui était grande mais la fenêtre donnait sur un couloir où un chariot de linge était entreposé. Nous avons donc demandé à changé de chambre et on nous a donné une supérieure, étonnamment plus petite avec un lit plus petit et très inconfortable, matelas très dur, probablement vieux. Rapport qualité prix pas terrible du coup! Par contre la jeune fille à l'accueil quand nous sommes arrivés était vraiment très agréable et professionnelle.

Dans l'ensemble, les chambres de l'hôtel sont bien même si elles sont petites. Par contre ,la piscine commence à se dégrader et c'est dommage même les plafonds subissent des traces d'humidité et ça fait un peu sale ! Dommage

Agréable dans l'ensemble mais salle de bain pas pratique, peu d'espace entre le lavabo et la baignoire, plus la porte qui s'ouvre dans la salle de bain. Chambre qui donne sur l'avenue a bruits de la rue, tôt le matin. Parking souterrain pas accessible directement dans l'hôtel. Idem pour la piscine.

Nuit pas du tout prévu. Réservation 10 min avant d'arrivée a l'hôtel. Nous ne savions pas a quoi nous attendre mais nous n'avons pas été decu. Accueil sympathique, chambre spacieuse, propre, très belle et accueillante. Lit confortable, la baignoire est un grand plus. Je recommande cet hôtel

Budget hotel, budget service. Good parking.

Budget wing of the Castel Hotel. Minimal like a Premier Inn, one small thin towel, a few hairs from previous occupant and two single beds pushed together as a double. Room a little tired decoratively but ok. You stay here because it is cheap and has an excellent underground car park. Being phoned a few days after my stay and accused of leaving without paying in a brusque and rude manner was a nice touch. When they realised it was their error, rather than apologising they just hung up.
