Older motel, fairly dated but quiet and clean. I was skeptical because of the low price but I I just needed a place to sleep while traveling. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend it.

I have travelled around Arkansas for a couple of months doing training. I normally stay in an IHG property, but in DeQueen, that was not an option. I did a review of local properties, and this was highly rated. It was a very comfortable stay, good bed, all utilities were working. It was quiet at night, well lighted and I felt safe. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and eager to help. I would stay again if in the area.

Nice, Comfortable, Quiet Stay

The room was really comfortable and great beds. It is an older motel and is single story. It has been updated and is well maintained. The only thing I saw was the pool is closed, so you might want to check if that is a big deal for you.

No privacy

Upon paying for the stay, the owner/cashier asked me for my pin on my card. Which I do not give out to anyone. In the morning between 7am-8am someone opened our door without notice. No knock before opening the door. They left quick and I looked outside and only saw a cleaning cart 2 doors down. I’m assuming it was the cleaning person but we don’t know. Check out was until 11am. We will never stay there again.

Wasn’t entirely sure what to expect as this was our first time to stay in town on a visit to the area. Hotel is older, but current owners have done a nice job of cleaning up the inside of the rooms, re-tiling in the bathroom, painting, and updating. Plenty of outlets to be able to charge electronics if needed. Room was on the smaller side with a king bed in it, (I’d suspect that when originally built the hotel was made to have a single queen in the room) but it was quite nice to find that there was not only a table with chairs but a desk to work at as well. Fridge and microwave as well as small coffee brewer in the room. It was also nice to have an ice bucket that was a little insulated and actually kept ice as ice for longer than 20 minutes (not something we’ve found traveling and being in several other hotels lately) WiFi worked great in our room. AC was quite loud, but it worked well and luckily I’m not a light sleeper who can’t fall asleep with noise or gets woken by it easily. There is a bit of a musty smell to the room, nothing that was so unpleasant we had a hard time staying in the room, but I suspect that thats because there’s no real ventilation unless you have the door open or AC on and I’m sure these rooms are locked up pretty tight when not in use by a guest. I would stay here again.
