Great location with regards to proximity to Gare du Lyon, but the area felt uncomfortable at night with child as there are massage parlours, sex shops and other adult facilities nearby. The room was immaculate and full of beautiful period features, can’t fault it inside.

The room was very comfortable, with a great mattress and quality bedding. Right off Gare de Lyon station, incredibly convenient, and there’s a supermarket nearby for essentials. The reception staff were professional, stylish, and welcoming, and the building is well-maintained inside and out. Whether you're using it as a base to explore Paris or as a quiet retreat to decompress mentally and physically, it’s a perfect choice. Looking forward to staying again.

Location was great! Super close to gare de lyon station! Lots of good food options around! The only thing i wish the room had was a kettle and some coffee/tea. Overall stay was good! Walls are a but thin so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me!

Stay was fantastic! There for 10’days everyone was really nice and accommodating! Ludovic showed us places to go while we were there and was so nice to my family! Was great location really close to metro and restaurants! Loved it

Very nice place. I felt welcomed and safe. The receptionist is exceptional. My family incl. 6 people came to say hello and I bought them some drinks. They were accepted and we had a nice family gathering. The bedroom was cozy and very comfortable. When I left I said I would come again. Also I went to the beauty parlor next door to have my nails done ! And we went to the Popup gallery for drinks and snacks ! Altogether a very enjoyable experience .

The front desk staff are the nicest! If you sleep here your bedroom is a good size and the European restaurant nearby is good authentic French cuisine. I highly recommend the lamb. Hotel Palym je taime

Ok hotel

The room is very small. No coffee/water boiler in the room. There is a water boiler in the lobby, however it is not available all the time (it is taken away after about 6pm).

Close to Gare de Lyon

The best part is the location if you are taking TGV from Gare de Lyon the hotel is 2 minutes away. The room was clean and nice but the walls were very thin and you hear your neighbors. Also it was weird that the room light kept turning off every 15 minutes and you have to hit the switch again and again. With the price I paid, I would select another hotel next time.

Excellent Service and Friendly Staff

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Palyn in Paris. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this hotel. One point of surprise was during check-out, where I discovered that breakfast was an additional charge. This detail was either unclear or not visible in my original booking, which caught me off guard. Aside from that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location, ok size room, clean and relatively new and decorated but can see some wear and tear. String sewage small from toilet first thing but dissipated after a while. Receptionists behaviour not that friendly but overall good stay

I had a single room with a double bed. Decor was very nice with lots of good lighting. The bathroom was small but clean and had a good mirror. From the moment I arrived all the staff were very polite and kind. They were helpful and made me feel most welcome. The hotel was located near the station, making it safe to stay out late when you are female on your own. Being near a mainline station made travel very easy, and I was able to see so much for a short city break.

The hotel is in a central location , near Gare de Lyon and Le Marais. Walking out, there were special shops which were a bit confronting. The renovation was not a big problem though it looked a bit scary at first. Guests were asked to leave the door swipes every time they left the room which felt strange.

Our stay at Hotel Palym.

We stayed at Hotel Palym during our recent trip to Paris and had a great experience. The location is excellent – just a one-minute walk from Gare de Lyon, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Despite being close to a busy station, our room was quiet, clean, and modern. It looked recently renovated, with a fresh, updated feel. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The room was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned thoroughly every day – something we really appreciated. The air conditioning was completely silent and offered good temperature control, which made the room very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. Instead of having breakfast at the hotel, we enjoyed eating at the charming bakeries and cafés nearby – there are plenty of cozy spots within walking distance that offered delicious pastries and great coffee. If you enjoy walking, you can reach Notre-Dame Cathedral in about 30 minutes on foot. The walk is mostly by the Seine. A small downside was that the room didn’t have a minibar or fridge, which would have been nice to have. Overall, Hotel Palym is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable, and well-located place to stay in Paris. We would happily stay there again!

The staff members were incredibly helpful, polite understandable, as there is a language barrier so they always did their best to make sure either they had a staff member that spoke English or had a way to translate with us. I recommend always having some of translation, such as a phone app Because many people here in France do not speak English many Uber drivers especially and that’s so important that they know exactly where you’re going because the app for Uber is not always accurate. I would bring many rechargeable batteries for cell phone as there are many parts of Paris and Orleans. Those are the two cities that I was in that the service is very slow and it drains your batteries very quickly. The weather here is very cold and days and very warm other days so my suggestion is dress and layers always and have a great pair of broken sneakers if you want to go sightseeing. Also attractions like the Lovur is not open on Tuesdays. We did not know that as it being such a sought out towards attraction we thought it would be open every day so I recommend you make a list and a plan of where you’d like to go and check the hours as we did not so we were unable to see that attraction on our trip. Besides checking the hours, lots of the museum, Eiffel Tower, etc. are either close by each other or there’s a difference and 10 minutes and an Uber could really be 30 minutes and an Uber because there is a lot of traffic but a sightseeing buses do you wanna make sure you give leeway
