We stay here only because it is the closest hotel to family. The hotel is OK but a bit run down. We had the same room this visit as our last and the carpet was new but the bathroom fittings were as worn as before. I can't recommend the Parkmore and if I had another viable option, I'd take it.

Spa is amazing! Rooms are clean! Staff are very attentive. Spa is beautiful although could do with a little touch up in the steam room cracked tiles where you sit) but an amazing day/night.

Lovely stay in a great size family room. Swimming pool for the kids was great. Staff all friendly and very helpful (we had a visit from the tooth fairy whilst there 😊 ) Pancakes for breakfast made the kids day! Good location with car to lots of things. Would recommend.

Business stay at parkmore hotel Stockton

Stay was pleasant. Breakfast had plenty of choice and cooked well. Evening meal was nice and a varied choice. All staff are polite and helpful.the room was a bit dated, scuff marks on wall and lighting was poor with bed pushed to corner of room. It was adiquate for my stay.

Good leisure facilities

My stay was ok nothing too bad the room was very warm but there is a fan. My room was also next to kitchen extraction I was up early for work but if I wasn’t it is noisy. Staff were great housekeeping excellent free parking good leisure facilities.

Noisy Rooms

The building is lovely and rooms as clean and reasonably comfortable. But I had to switch rooms after being woken by the noise from the next room. The couple in the next room weren’t being particularly noisy, but the walls were so thin that I could hear every word of their conversation. Having to repack and switch rooms after already having been asleep is far from ideal. It also took half an hour to be taken to my new room. Pillows are also like sleeping on concrete.

Helpful and pleasant staff and had a warm welcome Rooms clean and tidy and functional. Great shower in my room, although wall mirror was missing and light over the mirror that should have been there didn't work. Glass roof over the entrance and other conservatory rooves could do with a clean, but only a minor point. All in all a good stay and will certainly be going back

Give it a miss.

Cold tap in the bathroom didn't work, hairdryer didn't work, the colleague who was travelling with me couldn't turn down the heat in her room so it was a furnace. She was told by reception that they would let maintenance know but it would be 3-4 days before they would be able to look at it - we were only staying 1 night. To top it off, I had a pasta dish in the restaurant for dinner which gave me food poisoning. Hotels in this area are expensive which is why we stayed here - next time I'd spend the money and stay at a Premier Inn.

Called the property late evening prior to booking, and queried regarding the restaurant and the electric charging pod. When got to the hotel (after couple of hours), only to find out the both electric charger is not working and the restaurant closed earlier than said time. Bed comfort was not great either

Ok stay

Arrived Sunday around 3pm, had a Sunday dinner in the birdcage restaurant was very nice.. The room 114 not the best very worn. cream carpet quite stained walls marked and plaster chipped. We are a family of 4 with a 3 year old and 7 month old and the room just lacks things, no hair dryer or iron something you would expect in most hotels. No air conditioning and the room was very hot .. Swimming pool is lovely just a bit cold but worth a visit. Overall ok stay.

Room was very tired, walls covered in scrapes and smudges. Bathroom stunk very heavily of strong bleach. The ceiling in the halls have water marks from leaks. Food was extremely slow and waiting staff quite useless. Staff in general very friendly and helpful, just the hotel itself is very tired and dilapidated. I did not try the pool or gym so can't comment on them.

Disappointing!!

Room was VERY cold at all times even with the radiator at maximum. Bed duvet / linen was ripped and torn at one end. No hot water in the morning when I tried to wash. Restaurant food was below average. Dust on display shelf in restaurant.

Left disappointed

Unfortunately a disappointing stay, hotel is showing its age and the service at reception was poor. Waited a while to be checked in and then waited so long to check out I had to leave to get to work and then return in my own time later to finalise my stay. They were having internet issues which I appreciate is not there fault however I left disappointed at my time being wasted and feeling as though I had paid far to much for a below average hotel. Unfortunately I won’t be returning

Not Worth the Money

I will start with the positives. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Now the negatives. I booked what they called a suite not sure how it qualified as a suite. The bed was uncomfortable the mattress far too soft and the springs made it uncomfortable. The shower door was hanging off the shower I managed to kinda fix it but it kept falling off. The bath was a jacuzzi bath that didn’t work. When I asked why I was told it wasn’t advertised as a jacuzzi bath so they couldn’t be accused of wrongful marketing. There was a massive crack in the bath which could be dangerous. The hairdryer looked like it was from the 80’s and was stained probably from when you could smoke in hotel rooms. We used the kettle to make tea but it smelled and made the hot water taste disgusting this definitely needs replacing. I would say there are plenty of things that need to be done to make this worth the money they charge. The restaurant in the hotel was ok. Menu not massive and basic the food was ok not great. Their idea of a cocktail is laughable no thought put into the presentation. Overall this was a very disappointing stay and I won’t be returning in a hurry.

Great last minute night away with kids. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and brilliant leisure facilities! Mark couldn't be more helpful! If there was one down side, the restaurant menu could do with a revisit (very limited) and the beautifully cooked steak and fresh fish were very much let down by the frozen chips! BUT, the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely visit again!

We had a lovely stay, our family room was a little less fancy than the rwat of the hotel but thats fine, the food was lovely and so were the staff. The pool was nice, the area needs a little bit of a refresh and the spa was out of order but overall we had a loveky stay and will be back.
