I had stayed at this hotel many times before and appreciated the location just off the central station. This time I had a twin room for the first time, and both mattresses consisted of two parts/cushions, which created a dip half way down. I have back problems so asked at reception. They said they would check the mattress, and it wasn’t changed so I guess it was deemed normal. I will unfortunately not be able to come back. A side note: the pool is closed until the end of the year.

Pros- the location is fantastic - directly across the central station for train and bus. Nordstan Mall is 100m away. Right in the heart of the city. Can't to much better than this. -The breakfast was simply outstanding - especially the overnight oatmeal topped with turkeyish yogurt, their berry compote and sunflower seeds.. YUM! - The beds were very comfortable, slept well. The room itself was in the older section on the hotel, pleasant enough but not very bright - somber atmosphere. Cons - Our bedroom was poorly lite. One of the ceiling bulb was out. No direct lighting at the desk to write in my journal. The air exchange vent in the shower stall made a constant noise like when the toilet tank is filling up with water. - First time ever staying at a hotel where the guests have to pay to use their swimming pool and sauna. I realize that it's like a spa, and one would expect to pay for services like a massage or any other form of treatment...but for the pool? -Lastly, the Expedia site on which I booked this hotel has two entries - one as laundry and dry cleaning services, the other as having a laundry facility which would indicate that washing and drying machines are available for guests, usually at a cost. This was one of the main reasons why I chooses this hotel, except it doesn't. We had already been traveling for a week, so it would have been nice to have our clothes washed when living out of our backpacks, without having to pay an arm and a leg for laundry services.

Rommet var stort og fint for to voksne og et barn siden det var køyeseng og en dobbelseng. Men aircondition var ødelagt og det var veldig varmt på rommet. Vinduet kunne heller ikke åpnes opp. Vasken var tett. Begge disse tingene varslet vi om, men vi fikk bare en vifte inn på rommet i stedet for et nytt rom. Vi sov svært dårlig på grunn av varmen og vasken ble ikke fikset. Frokosten var helt ok, men de ansatte var dårlig til å fylle på ting så det var stadig vekk tomt for veldig mye og når vi spurte om påfyll 30 minutter før frokosten stengte sa de at det var for sent. Bassengområdet var veldig fresht og fint selv om bassenget er veldig lite.
