Comfortable, quiet location.

Good checkin communication prior to our arrival. Very comfortable 3 rooms included bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette/dining. Off road parking on the property was good although a little cramped for our large landcruiser. Would stay again.

Quaint, quirky and quiet

The Sunset Suite in Sonja's B&B made a refreshing change from our usual motel stays. The unit was spotlessly clean and well equipped for our needs, even if the en suite was a little 'bijou'. We had booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 as no-one told us that most of Lightning Ridge's attractions, shops and restaurants close down 'for the season'. This is no reflection on Sonja's as we would have been very happy to stay there.

It's located in a nice, quiet part of town. It was compact, neat, tidy and clean. The only drawback was limited/tight parking. Once someone parked in the double spot it blocked off a second car (but street parking was super easy anyway).
