Such a beautiful time, So clean, and cozy. Such a beautiful, peaceful, and romantic place. Very enchanting, and the owner is so kind, and caring. Def cant wait to go back again.
Very nice place to stay with an excellent restaurant downstairs. Room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. We stayed two nights and will definitely be back.
We had the property to ourselves with the exception of guests of the restaurant. Was a beautiful and relaxing weekend for my wife and I to lay in bed and reconnect.
We absolutely LOVED our relax & recharge getaway here. It’s was just what my husband and I needed. AWESOME food too. It was such an great convenience to be able to walk right downstairs and enjoy delicious food. Definitely would come back.

Only 3 lodging rooms in the house over the popular dining area. Quieted down by midnight. Cottage folksy, not luxury for the price.
We've stayed here 3x now. (1) stay in each of the room options available. You can't beat the lake front rooms. But the 3rd room in the back is nice and cozy. Will absolutely be back next summer and fall. Our only wish is that the fireplace didn't have such a short timer on it. It only stays on for 15 minutes and then shuts off. Hard to get it on as well. It must have some type of thermostat sensor or something. But quite frustrating on a cool fall day when you just want the warm glow of a fire for extended stay.
The owner upgraded our room so we were facing Lake George. Our room was beautiful with a balcony. We sat in the room and watched three deer by the lake. The manager was very prompt and helpful with a small issue we had.

Not what we expected for the price.
Bed was comfortable, room was adequate but bathroom had dim lights, fireplace had no instructions and couldn't get it to work, couldn't get into the room and had to call - they said they had sent a text with instructions but didn't; no chairs, no desk, grounds were not kept up. Restaurant was good.
Nice property . But Expedia didn’t describe the room size right . And they don’t have spa service either

The place was unique and staff very nice and accommodating. Thankfully because the AC in room did not work. Surrounding area not fully clean grounds due to geese poop everywhere but really nice area... unbalanced place.

the property was very quiet . got strange looks from the restaurant receptionist when i was lookin at the lake like i should not be there while she was serving . no communication with staff or owner only text ,fan outside did not work on balcony
overall stay was good prperty could use some maintenance
door locks are not good, bad step from balcony to room
still the stay was good
The room was beautiful, but only superficially clean. The fan above the bed was coated in chunky dust. I dropped an ear bud and it rolled under the bed. Getting down on the floor, the dust bunnies were HUGE and ubiquitous. Invest in a swiffer, please!
The room, view, and linens were comfortable. The blinds being on the outside of the French doors is a huge miss. I had to go outside to close the blinds, which would be horrible in winter. It also did not make me feel safe as a solo female traveler, knowing that others could manipulate the room blinds from outside, and there was nothing I could do about it.
The views were spectacular, but the furniture on the porch was covered in pine needles, demonstrating that no housekeeping had been done on the porch prior to my arrival.
Overall a nice room, but at the price point of over $300 per night in the "shoulder" season of Lake George tourism, I expected better.
