Great hotel with wonderful staff. On-site gym was a huge bonus. Restaurant had a good variety of items and all were very tasty with good portions. Swimming pool was very nice and the room itself was modern with plenty of outlets, air conditioning and decent WiFi.

Wonderful stay

Stayed 5 nights to visit family in Moshi. Quiet, clean, comfortable, beautiful grounds with lovely swimming pool. Service excellent.

From the moment I arrived I was instantly impressed with the property. The grounds were immaculate. The pool and gym were great but the best thing was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Always willing to help. I would highly recommend staying here.

We wanted somewhere nearby with parking on site to visit the arusha national park and to relax before climbing kilimanjaro. this lodge was perfect for us and the standard of food and the helpfulness of the staff were particularly excellent,

The hotel is very cute & quiet. Rooms are outdated but with a few updates to the bathroom & beds they would be fantastic. The grounds/gardens are gorgeous & well maintained. Very peaceful & quiet location with good view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Food was wonderful with variety. Service was very good. The pool is small but cute & just right for relaxing.

Propert grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Staff is helpful and the resturant is very good comparing to other resturants in Tanzania. Property is old. Rooms and bathrooms are very dated. There is two bars near the property and they play loud music. It feels that the music is being played next to your room. Hard a difficult time to sleep

What a fantastic place to stay!! This oasis has the most wonderful people working here - so kind and courteous!!! The bungalows are lovely with French doors to the center courtyard and lots of space! There are blackouts throughout Tanzania but this hotel uses solar power so it is quiet (a rooster or two) and the outdoor dining and pool are fantastic!! I am going to miss the marsala fish and delicious roti!! Great place to relax before and after hiking Kilimanjaro - they help you store your bags, do laundry and drive you to the airport or other locations! I highly recommend this hotel!!

anti-sanitary conditions of the room

This hotel is the worst I’ve ever been to. The room is dirty, windows with mosquitoes nets were cleaned some years ago, it looks like. All is very old. I decided to clean the toilet seat with paper and sanitary gel, after the paper was dirty and brown.. so nobody washes them, we decided not to take a shower there.. the bedlinen, towels and blancket were very old, the mattress was very thin, we slept very badly, and the bed itself was very short, our legs ends were out of the bed. We also heard our neighbors sometimes too loud. The dishes in the room and on breakfast was very old and not clean at all. I decided to eat only fruits using my hands. The only thing is nice , it’s the territory outside. It is green and looks that somebody cares about it. And also there is a gym, for those who need it, it looked quite big. This hotel needs renovation, to change all of this old things, blankets, towels, mattress - were awful. We cancelled another booking in this hotel on our way to back home. The room is just disgusting to stay, we left in the morning to another hotel. We moved to Alteza hotel. It is much much better and the main thing - it’s clean.

Die gesamte Außen-Anlage war gepflegt und der Pool war sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Die Lodge liegt etwas außerhalb von Moshi-Stadt, was auch definitiv zu empfehlen ist. Mit den sogenannten Bajaji kommt man für wenig Geld (fast) überall in der Umgebung hin. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Abzug gibt für die den Zustand der Lodges. Die Möbel und die (Bett)-Wäsche sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Hier müsste einiges erneuert werden. Auch ließen sich die alten Fenster nicht komplett schließen. Der Safe funktionierte ebenfalls nicht. Dennoch fühlten wir uns dort sehr sicher, was unter anderem an dem 24/7 besetzten Wachposten lag. Insgesamt hat es uns dort gut gefallen, und der Preis war in Ordnung.
