Hidden Gem

I’m truly afraid to do a good review ‘cause this place is a hidden gem and I don’t like it to get crowded lol ;) Get your back up ready because the hill is quite intense and make sure do not forget something inside the casitas otherwise gonna have to climb back! It worth the view, the location and the peace. Greg was very nice, always willing to help. If you go with Uber or car take note of this access-hill, some drivers won’t take you up, Walking distance to “playa de los Muertos” and Sayulita most popular beach. The centre of the city is right there BUT the casitas are up-high so you don’t hear the noise, but the roosters will wake u up! We were lucky enough to use the brand new pool and lights, once again the view is amazing! Also enjoyed the company of the turtles ;) Casitas are fully equipped so you can cook there or go down for taquitos ;) Absolutely love this place, definitely will get back on the future! Thank you Greg for your kindest and hospitality! Hasta pronto, Guadalupe & Diego.

Great view from pool area, peaceful and serene. Room was very clean and gardens were immaculately kept. Any request made was promptly addressed and we enjoyed our stay and will be back. Property is on top of a high hill so view is great overlooking town and beach and up the coast. Centrally located and easy walk to every thing!

The views from the property were exceptional. Really enjoyed having the 3 tortoises on the property. Felt that the dishes either were not clean or completely stained, which was a bit repulsive since we did eat in occasionally. Since only the Spanish speaking host was around we had some communication problems, and could have used a bit more help or advise about things around Sayulita. We felt the room itself was adequate for what we needed. We probably wouldn't stay there again because of the extreme hill to get up to the property, but we are both in our mid 70's, so this should not be a problem for younger guests.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay at Casitas del Mar in the top Unit #1. The view was incredible and it's very central to town. It's a hike to the top but a great workout. Loved the turtles.

This is no place for elder people. Unsafe stairs. Turtles never were cleaned. Door did not work. Nobody to help with luggage or ANYTHING. No water no electricity. Dark and unsafe on top of a hill. Room clean but I missed my wedding. Too much time to give us another room. Very disapponting.WOULD NEVER EVER COME BACK

Great Property. The rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet place, Rroosters did not bother us one bit. Loved the tortoises on the property. Great views of the beach as well!! The hill was a great workout and looked to forward to walking it daily.

We had a nice stay. There was a minor temporary issue with the water, and because of that the owner upgraded us to a much larger villa with an amazing view of the city and the ocean. The pool was very nice, private and relaxing while taking in the views.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Amazing place. Loved the salt water infinity pool. Feels very private as only sharing with 2 other casitas. Greg and Jose are super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Had a great stay. It is up on a hill so there is a great view. The hill isn’t long but it’s a good climb. The place only has 4 units in total and everyone was friendly. The unit itself was open, spacious, had great amenities. There is a hammock right outside the door. Privacy was nice. Really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again.
